Dave Bage

Dave first started developing on the family computer (Acorn electron) and was bitten by the bug ever since then. He created his first ever program on my spectrum +3 to calculate Pythagoras theory and show the workings so he could just copy it down into his maths book. Fast forward to the year 2000 he has since worked in eCommerce, medical software, the travel industry and more recently the energy industry as part of a team that developed a system to enable suppliers and installers to interact with smart meters. This has all been Microsoft centric starting in VB, then classic ASP and finally into the world of .net and associated technologies such as entity framework. In his spare time he likes to run (5k - marathon distances), cycle (short to stupidly long distances - he made the cycling news by doing a 502km ride on Zwift! https://www.velonews.com/culture/man-completes-entire-rapha-festive-500-on-christmas-day/), growing tomatoes & chilli plants, infrequently add to my blog (https://davebsrandomramblings.blogspot.com/), snowboard and spend time with his family, friends, son and golden Labrador.
