How Codurance is different

In 2010 our co-founders started the London Software Craftsmanship Community and it's the craftsmanship ethos that shaped who we are as a company. We strive for excellence in all aspects of our work. It’s not just about great software, but great UX, great strategy, great organisational alignment and great relationships.

Why people enjoy working here

Our people take pride in creating quality software and enjoy sharing their experiences and knowledge in a collaborative environment. They work on challenging projects across a variety of industries as part of high performing and multifunctional teams.

Learning is at the core of what we do and our software engineers (known as software craftspeople at Codurance) make full use of our vibrant internal culture of learning, constantly expanding their skill set across a wide range of technologies. That's why our craftspeople are some of the best developers in the industry.

Our approach...

“Quality” is an innate part of everything we do. We follow XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming). Our tech depends on what is best suited but we mostly work on Java, Scala, .NET, JVM and Node.JS stacks, with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms.

Why people join us

Our values...

...shape everything we do as a company. Through professionalism and technical excellence, we aim to create a long lasting, positive impact in the software industry. Ingrained in this mindset is the desire to always be and do better, to continuously push the limits in pursuit of excellence.

Our work...

...offers our engineers constant opportunities to expand their skills. Whether it's working on a client project as part of a team delivery, joining our client's existing development team as an embedded craftsperson or helping to introduce Software Craftsmanship values to an organisation through coaching & mentoring.
