At Codurance, our MDs Sandro Mancuso, Mashooq Badar and José Huerta regularly meet for informal chats after work. These discussions, where they share their personal insights, form the basis of our Fireside Chats, which you can find on our YouTube Channel.

After a short break for Sandro’s recent visit to the US and Mash’s visit to our new Malaga office to speak at an event with Santander, the trio returned to discuss how confidence can affect you in many ways, in your work.

Sandro felt that confidence matters more than people think.  A confident person does have an advantage in their encounters. When someone is confident when they speak, you feel that you can start to trust what they are saying.

José observed that if you don’t believe what you are saying then how can the listener believe what you are saying.

Mash put forward that there are two aspects to confidence. There is how much you feel and how much you show.

Sandro said that even when you don’t know the solution, you can show confidence. Mash suggested that this is about having a confident attitude.

In the video, you’ll understand the behaviours and attitudes that will help create confidence in yourself and others.
