Codurance’s Simon Shaw Announced as Representative of techUK’s Newly-formed Nations and Regions Council

Codurance Regional Director for UK North Simon Shaw has been confirmed as a committee member of techUK’s new Regions & Nations Council. The new committee, comprising influential leaders from the techUK membership, will support and guide the strategic direction for techUK’s work across the UK’s Nations and Regions, develop and grow the Local Digital Index and highlight the importance of the UK’s digital economy.

Simon’s role will also include engaging with stakeholders in devolved UK government departments across the UK helping support techUK’s engagement, feedback and relationship with these important partners to the UK’s tech sector and ensuring the programme accurately reflects members’ and our partners priorities.

As Codurance Regional Director, Simon is well placed to provide the Council with insights into the trends, challenges and opportunities in tech across the UK. Over a 30 year career, he has supported customers in both the private and public sector successfully transforming their businesses and organisations through the adoption of digital technologies and modern best practices. 

Simon’s current focus is the UK North region where he oversees the development of Codurance’s business from its offices in Manchester and Leeds. Working with his colleagues plus trusted partners and collaborators, Simon is building a sustainable community of people working in tech that is helping to improve the outcomes of both businesses and individuals that value quality and Software Craftsmanship, uplifting the Northern region as a place of innovation, growth and expertise. 

Since Codurance also has an office in London, staff based across the UK and software engineering communities in Manchester, Leeds, London, Cambridge, Newcastle and Bristol, Simon will be able to provide insights and feedback from across the country, further supporting the goals of techUKs Nations & Regions Council.
