At Codurance, our MDs Sandro Mancuso, Mashooq Badar and José Huerta regularly meet for informal chats after work. These discussions, where they share their personal insights, form the basis of our Fireside Chats, which you can find on our YouTube Channel.

With the rise of news stories on AI tools such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot, this week the trio looked at how these can change software development.

They reflected on how their own knowledge was evolving and there were similarities between ChatGPT and GitHub copilot - and aided programming would give you the opportunity to express what you want and then generate the code.

They also looked at the distinction between artificial intelligence and artificial general intelligence, code insight, how business is more than code and much much more.
