Codurance Wins First Place in Gender Diversity Hiring Awards

Codurance ribbonCodurance has been announced as the first place winner in the Gender Diversity Sourcing category of the Winter Hiring Leaders Awards, organised by recruitment platform Cord.

The Hiring Leaders Awards celebrate companies raising standards in recruitment over the last 3 months. These companies respond to every application, don’t leave you waiting for an answer, and are proactively working to build diverse teams.

Codurance was awarded top spot having sourced the highest percentage of females above the industry average in the medium-sized company category (51-500 employees).

The Codurance team works tirelessly to improve gender diversity in its recruitment pipeline by:

  • Using job description bias tools to ensure language is inclusive and any bias is removed
  • Job descriptions checked by colleagues to ensure they read well and would appeal to all genders
  • Gender-balanced interview panels wherever possible
  • Regularly reviewing and improving the interview process to make it as impartial and inclusive as possible
  • Promoting roles on a variety of sites to reach as many different audiences as possible
  • Tracking candidate and recruitment pipeline data and adjusting processes accordingly

“I am delighted that Codurance has been recognised with this award. Our hiring team is always looking at ways that we can improve gender diversity within the recruitment process which is an ongoing effort across the entire business.”

Sid Sivanandam Head of Talent Acquisition (UK), Codurance
